Yesterday we met Elvis, my sister's cat...

He is a big fellow that has had an unhappy story before my sister finds it.

It seems that some fuckin' nasty people wanted to get rid of it and tortured it . Yeah, some people are just bastardsand my sister found Elvis in a field not far from her house. His hind legs were bound with strings and he had been left rotting there.

The poor bugger was abandoned and was nearly dying. She rescued it, brought it to her vet and he had to be treated and given shots to make it healthy again. In two months' time it regained two kilos !

Now he seems to be really happy under the care and love of the family ! He remains very wary of people, though, because of its bad record with them so far. It just stayed hidden at my mother's place for four days before he was attracted by the smelle of the nice chicken we had to celebrate the New Year's Eve.

Now he is still afraid of going anywhere near a window and does not want to get out at all when he is somewhere.

We are sure that from now on, he will enjoy a very nice life and wish Elvis all the best for 2010 !
